i wouldn’t call northwestern my saftey, but i deffinetly think my chances are good there. Plus, it’s close to my house.

“That’s exactly what’s been haunting me for the past few weeks! Nov. 15 cannot come soon enough, yet I’m beginning to dread it a little. The weird combination of anticipation and apprehension is tweaking my nerves like crazy!”

ROCKao, I have the exact same feeling. I’m really hoping i get into stanford, but at the same time i don’t want to get my hopes up to get them knocked down

PS: there’s 1001 post, but 1000 replies. Is any other ea/ed board this active?

This morning, I had half a mind just to post until I got the 1000th post. Then I thought I was still half-asleep and that couldn’t possibly be a good idea.

nope. i think we are the first in CC Stanford History to have this much posts lol. ahh yes 2.5 weeks left. i’m looking forward to my thin envelope. curious to know, has anyone dreamed of an acceptance? lol

You haven’t read all the posts in both SCEA threads yet? I’ve had 1 acceptance and 1 that I got a decision, but I didn’t get to find out what that decision was (my mom woke me up).

Actually, I had another dream, a few weeks ago though, that it was decision day and all the other ED and EA’s from my school already knew their decisions…except me of course.

lol i didn’t bother to read all the other posts. its just way too long lol. and im busy trying to catch up with school (the break was worth it though). wow i never thought about not getting any response at all. that would be bad mucho… what im doing to try to keep my mind off of december 15 is to keep my mind busy on other stuff such as ECs and to realize that the decisions are out of your hands. these two things has seriously helped me lol till now that is after reading some of the posts on this board.

on the side note, is anyone feeling tired of high school due to the “regular” schedule?

I have this feeling that I’m going to be deferred. But after I figured out that they only defer about 30%, that feeling was replaced by rejection. As for other apps, I probably won’t be motivated to do them until Dec 15.

bigmrpig – if I get accepted, Brown & Columbia (I already paid the fees, so I might as well); if not, Brown, Columbia, NYU, JHU.

realitysucks – I believe Stanford will send you an e-mail a week or maybe a couple days before the 15th, telling you the details of checking your decision online, and I’m sure there’ll be some updates in the Stanford CC threads around then.
