I’m a student from the states looking to study in Canada. I noticed most schools have a pre-req for engineering, and on the UWO website one of the requirements is “senior level or AP level” Chemistry (SCH4U). I’m in NYS and I took honors Chemistry (and a Regents exam at the end of the year) in 10th grade. Does this qualify for that requirement, or should I take AP Chemistry my senior year? Thanks
In Ontario, chemistry is a 2 year sequence, 11th and 12th grades. I’m guessing that 10th grade honors chemistry wouldn’t qualify, but it would be best to contact UWO and ask.
