Schedule Rigor

Hello,

I have chosen my classes for next year, but have a question whether taking academic english (1 level below honors) would hurt me even with the schedule I have. I easily make the prerequisite, but I believe taking honors English 2 would add a lot more homework and overload my day. Would this be detrimental to top schools later when I apply? Should I take hon eng 2? Thanks!

This is my planned schedule for next year:
AP Calc AB
AP US History
AP Com Sci Principles
Hon bio
Hon chem
Hon latin
Academic English (1 level below honors)
Latin

Do not take Honors Chem and Honors Bio together, and take Honors English. There are few classes that will be as useful to you, since excellent knowledge of English will help you no matter what you do (applications, major, etc).

What year are you in?
Defintely take honors english…it is still light years easier than AP English and you will get frustrated with the level of academics. I would only take one Lab Science course.
