I was wondering if I should take my schools advanced stats course, PSU (Portland State University) statistics, or Precalculus. I am not sure if I want to be in a STEM career or not, and many schools require Calculus (or another advanced math class) but do they require Precalc? And if not should I take a more advanced class like PSU Statistics? I am a rising senior.
You said that you’re not sure if you want to be in STEM, but do you know what you want to major in? That should factor into your decision.
Also, I would recommend taking the college course, for no other reason than that it is a cheaper way to get a class out of the way before college.
