Are you saying there is NO public university in all of CA that is affordable for your family?
Can you commute to a CSU? Go t a CC for two years and transfer to a CSU or UC to finish your bachelors?
I’m from Cleveland. Baldwin Wallace is a good school for some students…but please…visit there before you apply. It’s not for everyone. And if you are from CA, the weather in Cleveland might not be to your liking.
Additionally, each campus has its own scholarships. Or, go to a community college for two years, then transfer.
Apply to FAFSA to see if you will qualify for loans. You won’t be getting need-based aid if you are upper middle class. Your stats are okay but you won’t be getting merit-based either (financial aid based on your grades and not income).
The CalStates should be affordable for your parents if they have saved and known that you would be going to college.
Make plans to work at your local amusement park, mall or ice cream shop this summer. You should be earning some money to put towards your college fees and expenses.
