Hey there! I’d recently gotten accepted to Term 4 of SoNYT’s online Summer Academy chapter with financial aid of about 65% of the tuition fee. Would love to hear your experiences there, especially if you have taken part in any of their online terms. 
Also, was just wondering if there’s any specific prior prep we should do before attending.
Hi, obviously not an answer since it’s been like 4 years lol but I had a question regarding financial aid. I just got accepted into the New York Times Summer Academy and I also applied for financial aid during the application. On the website it says that you receive the info about financial aid „at the same time” as the acceptance decision, which is like 4/6 weeks from application deadline which is on the 26the of February. I had some complications with my application, since the tax return documents were in polish and they wanted them translated and in dollars, which took a while and I ended up redoing that part of the application a few days ago, while the rest of the application was submitted at the end of January. So maybe this affects the timeline of the responses? I just wanted to know if the fact that I haven’t received an email means I will not get any financial aid or should I just keep waiting? I get that they probably need more time since the documents were only sent a few days ago, but I also have a two weeks deadline to pay the deposit.
