I am now in charge of my school’s science magazine. This magazine includes only science news. It currently lacks interest. What would be good to add to this magazine, content-wise, besides science news in order to make it more compelling and interesting? Any ideas are appreciated.

Lifehacks! Write about competitions, get people involved! Tips for surviving hard science classes? Make it relevant for your target audience.
Maybe try and interview a professor or graduate student in your area about their research, show them science /is/ done by real people and that it isn’t so far away.
