school talent show

my school had it’s talent show yesterday–super expensive! but worth every penny, lol.
They started it off with the lamest joke to ever be invented: “Why is 6 afraid of 7?”!!!
The only thing that sucked was the solo ballet and the group Frech song. The ballet was poorly executed and she nearly fell like ten times, and the squeeky voices of the kids singing French was horrible! Other than that, the evening went well.
The best part, though, of it all was the solo singing - I had no idea the senior class had people who could sing, lol.
Although the theatre was only half full, the laughter was SO LOUD during the play. They had kids copy the teachers - Hillarious!! (it was greatly exaggerated, though).

Aside from the horrible headache I had by the end of the three hours, I had lots of fun (I wasn’t even going to go until 1 hour before it started)

Are your talent shows anything like this?

Our talent show this year was awesome. The commentary was really funny and the show was filled with trivia and games and comedy for the audience between the acts. Everybody did some sort of music act though. We had rock bands, beat boxers, guitarists, and singers. It was really kool seeing my friends sing and stuff like that. The place was filled up and was exciting.

This was like during feb for us. So dont really remember much about it but it was really fun.

sounds nice. Ours was not planned very well, so we had to wait for quite a while between each act because they hadn’t figured out the exact layout of the program, lol.
anyone else?

We don’t have one.
We do have other cool stuff though, like a hypnotist who comes every year.
We had one in middle school, though.

We had one this year, I didn’t go and I heard it sucked. It’s sucked since middle school because it’s always the same kids doing the same things. I wonder how much longer before they realize they’re not really that good. One kid was amazing, but he broke his knee this year and won’t dance anymore.

We’ve got a coffee house and our own version of American Idol. I always plan to go, but never feel like it. Coffee house is supposed to rock and I’m def. performing when I get my guitar skills together.

Our teachers (the ones who were imitated in the play) would burst out laughing in the middle of the lessons because just looking at the kids who copied them made them laugh, lol.
I’m definately going to next years talent show, even though I’ll be in college, lol.
