I had thought about UNC-Charlotte, as I know it is good for motorsports and that NC public school tuition tends to be affordable, but I don’t see an astronomy major or a concentration within the physics major:

you are right. I went back and checked. They offer astronomy courses within a physics major but not an astronomy major. My bad.

UNCC is a great one - and you know who has the only Motorsports Engineering (I believe) - the former IUPUI - which is now Purdue - but in Indianapolis.

But with Astronomy - man, Arizona is gonna be tough to beat!!
