Science Olympiad

(With apologies, I didn’t know where else to begin this thread. I don’t know if it’s fully appropriate for the “High School Life” section.)

Our science olympiad regionals is coming up, and one of my events is Fermi Questions. I know many CC-ers are in Science Olympiad and know you all are an awesome resource for information! Anyway, last year at nationals, I saw a girl studying from a book that looked like it was made for Fermi Prep. I tried catching the title without trying to seem too obvious but wasn’t able to! I was wondering, what you are doing to prepare for Fermi Questions. (Do you follow a specific book?) Our team has a list constants which we have memorized, but they don’t seem to be enough. I know that solving Fermi Questions is more of an adapted skill, not one very formulaic. I can use any help you have to offer at all! Thanks ahead of time.

PS-The book was not The Lore of Large Numbers, as mentioned in the event parameters.

i’m interested too
