Science Research Competition: Where to find chemical samples and roundworms for the experiment?

Hey guys this might sort of be a weird question,

I’m planning on entering a science competition within a few months (assuming it will take me around 5 months to conduct my experiment).

I’m going to need a specific primer along with organisms to test on (don’t worry, it’s just roundworms). I know a lot kids have entered research competitions and conducted research with DNA primers and all sorts of organisms, and I’m just wondering where they actually find them/get access to these chemicals and organisms?

I want to start soon, but I’m having trouble actually finding the chemicals and organisms to use in the experiment.

Carolina biological supply might carry some of the things you need. But to do DNA experiments, you probably need access to equipment that is pretty expensive. I would guess that most students who do this kind of work are working in a college research lab.
