Did anyone else have an issue with receiving an email from Scripps this Friday stating that our student had missed the application deadline when that wasn’t actually the case?
My daughter did not mention anything like this coming. I assume you got it sorted out with them?
Yes we got two emails saying she had missed the deadline even though she had not.
Emails to the applicant and to us as parents
Luckily the portal link was also sent with an email saying that they had received her application.
I called each day we received an email saying her application had not been submitted and the admissions office said it was a glitch and we could ignore those emails.
She could see on her end she had a receipt from common app and a receipt of payment if the application fee.

Thanks! We wrote back as well that she had submitted and had a portal, etc and we got a reply saying not to worry if she had already submitted… they did not confirm in the email that they had received it, nor did they acknowledge that it was a glitch- it seemed like a formulaic response. I feel a little better knowing this happened to others as well! We got the email, she got it, and also got a text.
Anybody know when admitted students days are at Scripps for 2026? Couldn’t find them on website.
Anyone know when RD is expected out? I just have mid-March.

Also curious for past years, when Scripps has announced their decisions.
We’ve gotten occassional emails - typically advertising recorded or live zoom events…but nothing application related.
I think last year they released RD around March 18-19
Any news on Regular Decision date? I was guessing it to be soon?

I hope so!! Pitzer is out, and Pomona says the 19th so I hope soon!!!
I think Harvey Mudd and Pitzer were last week?

Why is Scripps so mysterious with their release date! 
My daughter think it will release with Barnard and Wellesley on Saturday -but we have no true idea!
I know! Especially since the other four Claremont colleges have all said when they are releasing (or have released already)! I suppose it won’t be today with Pomona, maybe tomorrow with Claremont McKenna?

I wonder why they don’t announce their release day?
I guess we can try to look at a few past years to see if there is a day they tend to do?
Pitzer also did not announce their release date. They just dropped the decisions last Friday with no announcement ahead of time.

Based on past years going by days of the week, I would predict Scripps to announce their decisions around 5:15 tomorrow March 20 (or possibly Monday the 23rd.)
Based on past dates I’d predict today March 19 or tomorrow March 20.

The portal has changed - it no longer says “status: awaiting decision.“ No actual decision yet, though.
