@sdsuparent20 @tottenhamboi18 Same boat here, only we got double denials yesterday - UCD and U of Washington. But still encouraged, as accepted to Cal Poly SLO. Fingers crossed for SDSU or my D will probably go out of state where she has already received some good admissions and merit scholarships. But 28th? Uggh. Need to make travel plans and figure things out.
what major is your d? I think it’s a good sign she got into Cal Poly. My son got early admin with honors to SDSU in engineering 4.17 act 33 with an A in College Calculus 3 with lots of extra classes.But was wait listed for Cal poly.
Can someone tell me my chances for bio sci at sdsu? My CSU GPA is 4.15, ACT 27. 8 AP courses and multiple honors. In state but not local.
@calpolyplzz: Based on your posted stats and calculated EI, you are a competitive applicant. Much will depend upon how you stack up against all the other Biology majors that have applied. Last year there was 6846 applicants and 2333 accepted for Biology for a 34% acceptance rate. Also Biology was the most applied major at SDSU.

I got waitlisted at cal poly so that gives me some hope. 3.89 cal state gpa and 1170 SAT lots of honors and ap. what are some other stats of people that applied undelcared compared to mine??
@dgmom My D is a history major. How competitive can that be? Lol. Big difference from engineering I’m sure. She has a 33 ACT, but only a 4.0 weighted gpa which I think UC and CSU reduced to 3.7 or 3.8. She had great extracurriculars (tons of volunteering and 4 years on cheer team, NHS, misc other things), but I guess SDSU doesn’t look at the Extras. Private schools seemed to like her overall app, as she got some nice merit scholarships, but UC seems less than impressed with the gpa if I had to guess, although she did get in SLO. Fingers crossed for SDSU though.
chances of getting in? marine biology major. 3.75gpa and a 30 act. My stats are a little low but SDSU is my top school

I am a pre-nursing major and I have not heard back or heard of anyone else hearing back from SDSU. My friend and I have above the average stats for the school so we are not too worried however the application process is weird this year. SDSU’s nursing program is harder to get into than other majors, so I am assuming they need to take more time making the decisions.

@soletrain4thewin did your friend also apply for Nursing? My D applied for Nursing and we haven’t heard anything either. When it’s all said and done the acceptance rate for Nursing might be lower than 5% this year which is why we applied to many schools.
Has anyone’s “Admission Status Date” changed? (Specifically nursing majors)
My D’s hasn’t. She’s a bio major.
