Has anyone heard back for admissions for PRE- Health Communications?
Admission Status still “Pending” but Admission Status Date changed from Nov 18 to March 14…seems to me that they’re gearing up to release. No way of really knowing, but it seems unreasonable to have a scheduled Admitted Students Day without releasing all of your admissions. In-state, Business, 4.12 W, 3.80 UW, 31 ACT, 670M/670V SAT, lots of extracurriculars, leadership etc. Already got in to Cal Poly, Davis…
@tustosan i’m not sure if it does because I just barely missed the cutoff for early admission and my portal didn’t change dates for admission status, but honestly who knows

My admission date did not change… 
This Saturday is SDSU Open House day but DD is more interested in knowing UCI, UCSC announcement tomorrow now and DH also said no need to go to Open House if decision is still pending. I hope SDSU would let us know if we got waitlisted or rejected, so we don’t need to drive 2 hours there and spend all day this Saturday.
@disney4cam SDsu has been really weird this year. My son hasn’t heard of anyone in his school that was accepted. He should have been up for honors with his stats but he still hasn’t heard if accepted. We found out by chance the last week of February that that there was an issue with his application. They were reading his block classes and one semester classes. It must have happened to his whole school since no one got honors invite but SDSU didn’t notify anyone. If we hadn’t had found the message in the portal by chance, he would have mixed the date to fix by entirely. My eldest had a similar scenario with block classes and duel enrollment classes and it wasn’t an issue at all!
SDSU is a local school for us so of course, my son prefers to go elsewhere and has viable options on the table but I’m frustrated.
Can anyone explain to me what the admission status date means? Mine says February 16, 2018, but my status still says pending so I’m confused on what the date means.

@turtletime Thanks for the input. That is really strange about your son’s situation. It doesn’t say much for SDSU’s system if they can have such a glaring issue with a local school. Luckily my daughter only applied as a safety school (super ironic since she hasn’t been accepted yet, lol), and she has much better options than SDSU now. Just waiting on Pepperdine…tomorrow. I really only want to hear from SDSU for pride and principle at this point.

There is no thread for Sacremento State so I am asking my question on here with hopes that someone here applied. SO i was just wait listed at Sac State and that was supposed to be my safety school. Is there something going on this year are there way more applicants than usual? Is our class as a whole larger than others in years past?

@Caligirl24: Most likely since you are not local then it could explain the waitlist. Your safety should be your local CSU.
