I got accepted today under music performance (vocal emphasis)!

@strssdsnr24: SDSU will take the capped weighted CSU/UC GPA which caps at 8 extra honors points for UC approved Honors, AP, IB or DE courses taken 10-11th grades only. Here is the calculator: https://rogerhub.com/gpa-calculator-uc/
An UW GPA of 3.4 will not get you a 3.9 CSU capped weighted GPA with the 8 honors points.

It is encouraging that people with lower stats are getting in for nursing but it is so frustrating having to wait still… Does anyone know why they are randomly sending decisions out over the course of two weeks?! Why can’t they just do acceptances one day, waitlists the next, and rejections the following??
@socalnurse i’m assuming they’re reviewing apps while they’re releasing them at the same time which is why they’re coming out so slowly

@socalnurse I’d argue doing them in reverse but agree 100%. But since the job is EXTREMELY time consuming and difficult, I’m sure this ping pong ball method makes the most sense.
