Heartbroken
Still waiting. Very sorry to see all the “denied” statuses above
Denied: Nursing
4752 EI
It’s okay I have other options that I preferred more
But I feel like there are people with lower EIs so I wonder what else they used to decide admission? I am also a local
My sons portal still says pending…I guess no news is no news
I honestly don’t know what more I could’ve done to be denied over people that have gotten in with lower stats. 2 year hospital volunteer, AP Bio, AP Calc AB, AP Calc BC, AP Statistics, both years of AP English, Anatomy & Physiology, chemistry… Im so upset I was beginning to not want to go out of state but now those are my only options.
@calbound24 I was admitted into PLNU’s nursing program and it is currently my top choice. They provide generous scholarships, have smaller class sizes, have clinical and connections with over 20 sd hospitals and are as highly acclaimed as SDSU’s school of nursing! 10/10 recommend this program to prospective nurses, I have only heard great things from current students and staff.
hard to think what more i could have done to get accepted, already was staying up very late with the rigorous classes i did take, I am sure I am not alone on this, sad to see hard working students get denied from nursing because they only accept around 400 students

@socalstudent0 is PLNU direct entry? I would’ve applied if I knew!
I feel terrible for everyone who got denied. To look on the bright side, at least you now know. There’s a ton of students that get to sweat this BS through spring break. All because SDSU is too incompetent to complete their process.
I honestly think the system as a whole is broken. Since they act like it anyway, they should privatize the entire system.
I’m doing the nursing tour at PLNU Monday and now I’m getting excited @socalstudent0
My D got Denied nursing my heart is hurting for her
@futurenurse77 Yes! and you do not have to compete with your other classmates for a spot in classes they are all reserved for you, it is very organized.
@calbound24 get ready to fall in love with the campus! I hope you find the program as incredible as I do!!
Daughter rejected
Nursing
ACT 30
GPA 4.3
She’s not too sad since she already fell in love with U San Francisco (with scholarship) and is admitted to PLNU. She heard from a friend (not sure on the source) that the SDSU nursing acceptance rate this year is about 3% with over 4000 applicants.
Rejected from nursing!
Daughter just denied entry into nursing.

Accepted at USF, U of Portland, Seattle U, and Gonzaga, all with nice scholarships. Gonzaga is her top choice, she was just waiting for the official rejection from San Diego before confirming enrolllment.
