SDSU Class of 2022 Applicant Thread

@Gumbymom Thank you for your timely reply. Much appreciated! I assumed my chances were very low but thought I would ask. Thanks again!

@weathergirl10: Just remember No Decision is No Decision so hang in there…

@Gumbymom what would be my EL if my gpa is a 3.61 and SAT is 1150?

@Cat420: Your EI is (3.61 x800) + (1150)= 4038.

@Gumbymom thank you !

Hi, I got accepted back in December and I was just wondering if anybody knows when SDSU will release financial aid information. I just applied for the Presidential Scholarship so I’m assuming it will be after scholarship decisions?

@CaliUSA7
Biology is my major. I took/taking those AP classes

@101400 we got our financial aid yesterday and were accepted on Monday. They sent an email telling you to check i it and update if you were living on campus so they could re-evaluate since we are local.

Has anyone gotten accepted for criminal justice? I just see nursing, biochemistry, and business. Are they doing it by popular majors first? I know it’s an impacted major, but I was wondering what are the stats for criminal justice.

@Savannah2018 Post #823 show stats for an admit for that major.

My D gpa was 3.86 her SAT 1160
3.86 x 800 + 1160 = 4224
Denied Nursing

@jamzmom3 I feel terrible for all the kids who worked so hard only to be denied. I can’t recall if you’re in state but there is a terrific thread in the Nursing major section of CC http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/nursing-major/1968104-direct-nursing-admit-journey-for-a-california-a-b-student-p1.html where a mom details her D’s options to find nursing when she was denied from her CA public schools. Her D had the same or similar stats if I recall.

Political science anyone?

Is chemistry as impacted as biology? I applied for biochem and it says chemsitry-biochemistry

SDSU mascot?

@SmartGurl17 Aztecs

@jjjjjobhyiyvgj Chemistry/biochemistry is impacted. I believe biology is impacted in most of the CSU’s and UC’s unliked biochem.
Fun fact: UCLA is the only UC with biochemistry as a capped major!

my admission status date is back in mid february is that bad?

@sernagirl Well if it’s bad that ur admission status is in Feb mine is still all the way back in October so I wouldn’t worry too much about that
