So are acceptances done?
@Waiting0532 no only a handful of decisions are out now. They’ll continue for a week or two hang in there
Thk you @Banker1 . Yes she was pretty sad lots of tears Friday but thk goodness for spring break We’re hoping for Point Loma we live in Ca . Thk you girvthk go in the nursing thread I’ll taje a look
Does the admissions status date indicate the last time admissions looked at your application?
@Savannah2018 No. Lot’s of people grasping.
Hi! So I got into the direct nursing program for SDSU but still waiting to hear back from CSUF after being waitlisted for their nursing program. I was wondering which school has a better nursing program as well as overall experience? If I go to CSUF I would just commute but if I go to SDSU I would be dorming. Thanks!
@stayinincali Was he offered a chance to be on the waitlist?
@chemlovr314 the SDSU program is larger and the campus provides the true college experience. CSUF is more of a commuter school.
my admissions date is march 14th, 2018. wonder when they will send out my decision. Im hoping I have a chance to get into sdsu because I got into UCSB, however that doesnt mean anything. PRAYING
@xxitsgabbyxx isn’t it strange that admission to SDSU is as difficult as that of the top UC schools? I saw a few posters reporting admission to UCD, UCSD, UCSB but not SDSU. Good luck!
@Banker1 It honestly is!
im just hoping for the best. good luck to you as well!
The UC schools have such great reputations, all across the country. SDSU is hard to get into just because it is in a popular location. Its reputation of a party school prevents employers from taking graduates seriously. If I get into a UC I would definately go, no question.
@pleaseacceptj: SDSU’s party school reputation was 20 years ago but the stigma still persists. SDSU has become a well respected school with great opportunities for many students and a very involved Alumni association which takes their graduates seriously. Do not make assumptions based on hearsay but research and find out for yourself. BTW, any school can be a party school and also remember that one person’s safety is another person’s dream school.
i would like to point out that as a student in CA who knows all the gossip about schools and such, sdsu is not viewed as a party school but a well respected most desirable state school for many and many long for an education there
Hopefully there are more acceptances tomorrow :-SS
SDSU doesn’t have a reputation for being a party school. I know a good handful of kids who don’t want to go to SDSU because it’s “too serious”. They are going to ASU because it’s a party school. SDSU is very solid and well rounded. You’ll find partiers on every campus, but you’ll find more here who aren’t.
SDSU has a really low acceptance rate for a CSU and a party school, but I guess the stats are average for those accepted.
Did anyone already SIR?
@smartgurl17 what is SIR?
@irishmv:: SIR= Statement of Intent to Register or basically enrolling in a College.
