@1234college1234 I’m big on sports so that nice to hear. I’m sad because the people I was talking about rooming with didn’t get in so I would really be moving down there with no one I know. But looking at pictures of the campus and all looks really nice and hearing that they have a good program is a huge comfort
My S also got into 2 UC’s and 4 CSU’s. He is also choosing to be an “Aztec for Life!” He can’t wait!
@baywarrior just think of all of the people you will be forced to meet now! My daughter went to UCI and she was the only one from her school. She is now in her 3rd year and has tons of friends there. Trust me no matter where you go chances are you wont know very many people and will develop a whole new set of friends either from your dorm or you major. I have told my son over and over again dont pick a school because your friends are there go because you like it and want to spend the next 4 years there. Dont settle either. My nephew did at UCD and hated it there. He spent the entire first year doing nothing and making zero friends as he worked to transfer to UCSD his first pick which he ended up doing. So pick what is the right fit for you!. What you like others many not. Personally all three have great attributes which some may love and others hate so you need to see what works best for you. Good luck in your decision.
@Bean981 thank you, I feel like I know that but I’m still worried. I loved CSUMB the most as a campus and location spot, and money wise but it is a reach in major since it doesn’t really have the major I want for my career but the major I would take can work for me, it’s just more of a reach

I was somewhat surprised and disappointed, but good thing she recently realized that she’s not interested in nursing anymore. Choosing between CalPoly SLO, UCSB & UCD now.
I’m not really into the “party vibe” or the “drinking vibe”. So is SDSU or CSULB better for me?
Is there anyway to appeal if you don’t wanna live in dorms as your parents are moving to San Diego as well along with moi?
SDSU’s party rep is from 20 years past. There are many like students on campus so you can find your tribe. Visit each school and see which school fits you. Remember you can find parties at any school you attend.
@Gumbymom yea, I heard USC is da #1 party school in CA, which is like wow considering the fact it’s one of the hardest colleges to get into.
Curious if any freshman admits had a to do of sending hs transcript by may 1st? It seems odd since they will still be in school. Wasn’t sure if someone had called about that yet. If not we"ll call this week to see.

@cocoonutty: all majors are impacted at SDSU so at Freshman orientation you can ask the academic advisor how to declare a double major. You cannot add it on until you enroll as a student and attend orientation.

anyone know when waitlists usually start to hear back?
@jennieloren usually near the end of april and into may. maybe even june. sdsu needs to see how many people commit by may 1 and then admit from the waitlist. if less people commit than they expect, they will draw from the waitlist.
Where do you check admissions, because i logged onto my sdsu and i didn’t receive any updates or messages informing my acceptance and rejection.
