What are some good places for housing for second years. Off grounds/On grounds doesn’t really matter, just looking for a place that doesn’t have much noise around.
Woodrow Apartments seem to be pretty ideal because of its location.
Can you give some suggestions/tips?

I think you will get more feedback from the uva student facebook groups. There also has been some discussion on this topic on the UVa Parents facebook group, which a student can join.

I subletted in woodrow one summer and there were spider crickets everywhere. Also you could hear all of the noise from grounds because it is basically on grounds. It was super convenient, though. I guess I would look into whether close or quiet is your top concern and go from there.
When I wanted quiet my 5th year I lived in the apartments near target and drove in (I didn’t have class every day so it wasn’t a big deal).
