Self account for Guidance Counselor in Commonapp

I’m an international student and we have some limitations for applying through commonapp. First, there’s no counselor in my school, and the principal and VP are not very concerned towards this format. None of the teachers are very active on social media or emails. Hence, I cannot appoint anyone from my school for the commonapp thing.
I know making IDs for teachers recommendation wouldn’t be a big issue, but making an ID for guidance counselor can be risky.
But, I haven’t got a choice.
Is there any possibility that making an account for Counselor would not be a big issue?

Ask college admission officers directly.

Please don’t create an account in someone else’s name. If your recommenders are not comfortable using the online system, you have two alternatives.

  • Use paper forms. When you enter your recommenders and guidance counselors, leave the email address field blank. You will be directed to paper forms that you can print out. (If you already made a request with an email address, your recommenders can also click on an opt-out link in that email.)

  • Sit down with your teachers and help them with the account creation and document submission. You can assist, but you should not have control over the actual account (like knowing the password) for obvious reasons.
