Self study AP's or do next years work?

Hi all,

I’m currently attending high school, the system/way we do work and projects are all mainly based online. I’ve finished most of my work for most of the subjects of the year for my grade level. My question is, either 1. I can choose to start my next grade levels work, chemistry, ap calc, etc. Or should I, as the title says, study for the AP’s of the class I’m taking. for example, if I was in algebra 1, should I do AP algebra stuff(albeit I know AP algebra isn’t a thing, and that I’m also not in algebra?

Thanks,
Average highschooler

It seems like either one is a good option, since it seems like your high school is self-paced. If you study next year’s, you’ll have more time next year to study for APs, if you study APs this year, you would study next year’s material next year.

Although when your material is still fresh in your memory, studying for the APs should be easier.
