What’s the difference?

Self study means you buy a textbook and a review book and study it on your own with no other outside help. I’m not sure how online courses work, but I’m sure it’s just like what it sounds like.

Okay, does self studied classes look any worse than taking a class in school? And how do you go about taking the exams?
Also, are the classes that u self studied, added onto your GPA?

Self-studied wouldn’t be on your transcript at all, other than the test score.
Only Independent study would be there, and that’s if your school agrees and it isn’t possible for you to take it at your school or online.

Online classes you have a teachers who assigns you work… it is just like a regular classroom except it is online and requires you to have the self-discipline to keep up with a lot more than a face-to-face class.
I’m currently in an online AP class… so I may be able to help.
