Semester Grades

<p>Do Semester Grades need to be submitted? If so do they send an email or do you go into the site, have the school send them?</p>

<p>It depends on your high school. My daughter’s high school automatically sent first semester grades to all colleges applied to except UVA and UNC-Chapel Hill-sending grades to those two schools was the student’s responsiblity. W&M won’t send an email (I think) so you need to talk to your counselor or the person who sends out transcripts, but yes, you do need to submit your semester grades</p>

<p>I recall the same thing. My son had to tell his school to send them.</p>

<p>W&M does not seem to post that anywhere. Am I missing something? How do they notify students of this requirement?</p>

<p>MIDYEAR TRANSCRIPT AND REPORT FORM - (available here)</p>

<p>TESTING - SAT (#5115) or ACT (#4344). We use the highest combination of scores, so send them all to us.

A complete application to the College of William & Mary includes each of the following required materials:</p>

<p>The Common Application
The William & Mary Supplement to the Common Application
The Secondary School Report form complete with a high school transcript and counselor letter of recommendation
The Midyear School Report form (Note: This form should be mailed to the admission office with an updated transcript as soon as first semester grades are available.)
An official report of standardized test score(s) - Information regarding W&M’s standardized testing requirements
Application fee payment, or a fee waiver request
