Hi,
Basically, my question is can I send in multiple acceptance forms? and decide later. I’ve heard from my friend, who is U.S. citizen, that I can do it and I would just lose the deposit fee. However, as most of you guys know, as an international student, I have to deal with stuff like releasing SEVIS number from previous instituion to obtain new I-20.

So, can I release my SEVIS number to multiple institution and get multiple I-20 and decide later?

that’s not ethical and if those colleges share admit list and see that you are on it twice or more, they could all rescind your acceptance

Thanks, but just wondering what’s so ‘unethical’ about that? lol

you may be lol-ing but do you realise that by saying yes you have denied a student from the waitlist?

seriously why can’t people just do something the proper way instead of trying to beat the system?

First of all it is a risky proposition if any of your schools find out. Do you want to take that risk? I would not.

Second, if you believe in karma, you would see that its really selfish to occupy a place where you don’t want to go. The sooner you make a decision, the sooner that someone who really wants that place gets notified.

yes…precisely…man i love CC…i got waitlisted 4 places so i speak for a whole class of others like me out there when i say if u really plan to do something as unethical as tht, i am gonnna track you down and choke u in ur sleep!!! why cant something as simple as tht get into ur fat heads? ok…no not really…um not gonna do tht…i know um being a lil offensive but this is only so u really get the gravity of wht ur about to do if u actually do it…ur gonna be ruining lives…really…just find out which one you like and enroll…as simple as that!!

PS. American embassies have all the information in the world, if it was ever on paper, they will track it…really…so be scared cuz its for your own good…
