Is my senior schedule suitable?? I am planning to take…
-ap gov

  • ap macro
  • ap lit
  • orchestra
    and then do dual enrollment at a community college near me with as many classes I can take through the program. Should I take a few more aps at my high school? As of now I have taken 7 aps throughout high school

Its hard to say when you don’t list what community college classes you plan on taking. Its probably best to have take a math, science, and language class all four years of high school, especially if you are aiming for high ranked schools. However, I wouldn’t just add AP’s for the sake of adding AP’s. There comes a point where the numbers blur. Taking 10 AP’s won’t seem much different than taking 11+.

Beside orchestra, why not take all classes at the college since you’re taking AP s ?
You could schedule 3MWF and 2TTh at the college, then add orchestra and one other his class. You’d be good (that’s be equivalent to 11 AP classes…)

I’d love to be able to do that but I’m in a program at my school that requires me to take ap gov, ap macro, and ap lit my senior year

OK, then take those 3+orchestra +2MWF and 1Tth :slight_smile:
That’ll be plenty, too.
