Hey guys so this is year I am in my junior year. Even know it’s mid October I have a dilemma, one thing I wanna do senior year is be a TA for two teachers(one each semester for a total of one period) however I was given a form and I have to decide by November 1st if I want to do this becuase there is a process(small by time consuming) I have to go through to be TA(like how many credits I have, any classes I need to take to graduate senior year, etc.) The biggest thing though is my schedule besides that so I was wondering if any of these options will work/which won’t work as well.
Option 1:
-AP Stats
-CP Brit Lit
-Marine Bio
-AP Comp Sci A
-Criminal Justice(Sem)/DE Psych(Sem)
-Drama 2
-TA(2 teachers for each Sem)
-Option 2:
-switch out DE psychology for another TA for a third teacher for a semester(only chance would be if I can’t pay for the class)
Any suggestions would be great as far as foreign language I’m not that great at it so I would rather focus on the these classes I enjoy and can pass where this class I possibly may not(have 3 years though) and my major Is Computer Science/Game Design and Development. I may drop Drama 2 as well and if so I would take Adv Anatomy and Physiology but besides that does my schedule look good or not
What type of universities are you aiming for?
Ideally, for CS/Game design at a moderately selective college, you should have
AP Calculus AB or Precalculus Honors
Physics regular or honors
CP Brit Lit
AP CS A
Foreign Language level 3 OR (if you already have it) graphic design or studio art 2D
DE History or social science/ DE Psych OR a full year HS social science class
TA
Well math wise I’m struggling in pre calc so I wanted to take AP Stats if this is ok(no honors pre calc just pre Calc (in rn), Stats AP Stats calc AP Calc de math only math choices rn
English sticking with Brit lit
AP CSA still sticking with
This year taking third level foreign language so I’m taking Marine Bio In place of foreign language
Ima still take Criminal Justice(Sem)/Psychology(Sem) if Psych doesn’t workout for the semester class than AP Psych
Sixth class I would take is Drama 2 bc I think something I also could see as a career
Last period TA
Plus my two music classes in the morning
However There’s only AP Physics or regular physics taking reg physics rn, they don’t have studio art 2D and they got rid of the web design class 1-2 years ago
So question is should I get rid of Drama 2 or Marine Bio for Calc(Regular) with AP Stats or drop AP Stats for Calculus(Regular), however there is a DE math class I think it’s calculus with elementary Stats maybe I should take that class?

Does this look strong enough if not I could switch into AP Bio
I am currently taking AP Biology right now and it is a brutal class (I barely have an 83 in the class). However, I find it extremely interesting and would recommend taking it.
I hate to tell you this, but DO NOT TAKE AP STATS! I know math geniuses (A in AP Calculus AB) with C’s in the class and most people get a 1 on the AP Exam. Worse than that, most colleges do not care about you taking it unless you are majoring in the subject. I would take AP Calculus AB, as that is what most competitive colleges will expect.
Does your school offer AP Computer Science Principles? If so, take that as well.
I’m taking Principles rn however I’m struggling in Pre-Calculus so I don’t know if Calc is the best way to go.

I can feel you, as I recently got a C+ on a test. I would recommend taking it over the summer at a local community college and then taking AP Calculus AB senior year.
