Hello! Its come time to make my senior year schedule. My top two schools at the moment are Cornell and Brown. I have a 4.0 GPA thus far and scored a 1510 on the SAT (first try). My intended major is a double major in psychology and english lit. These are the courses I’ve taken so far through high school;

Well then, Brown says (emphasis mine):

While there are no specific course requirements for admission to Brown, you should take all of the fundamental courses that are essential preparation for university-level studies. Ideally, Brown undergraduates will have studied a **foreign language for four years/b. Studies will have included biology, physics, and chemistry, and a higher level math. Applicants planning to concentrate in science, math, or engineering will certainly benefit from more advanced courses in their area of interest.

So option 3 or 4. Your choice.

Option 3 or 4 would meet the foreign language recommendation for Brown as skieurope mentioned. Option 3 with honors creative writing sounds like a great option for an English major! AP Stats is another decent option, but the creative writing would show that writing and English classes are an interest to you. You have a strong schedule and strong academic history! Ultimately both options 3 and 4 look good and I’m sure you’d do well in either. Even though Honors creative writing isn’t for AP credit, it could prove to be beneficial.
