September 2010 ACT Science Discussion

can someone please list the possible curve for this section. because i thought i did well on this minus a few questions, but now i am starting to think that if my science isnt as good as i thought.

can someone with experience please list the number wrong and the possible scaled score?

guys did you get an awnser that had to do with “h2” I think it was the one that asked what trial was saturated with water. It said dry air mixed with h2 = h20?

nvm found it

^^ Are you talking about the question that said which trial had water vapor saturation? We just discussed that one. It’s trial 6.

Probably:
-0 36
-1 34
-2 32/33 and so on

Hopefully:
-0 36
-1 35
-2 34

and @UVAorBust it was trial 6

There was also a formula equation question.

I believe i put MG + 2HCL —> something else + h2. What did you guys get?
(h20)

@airfreshener that’s what i put and i believe it is right

Yeah, that’s right. If I filled that one in and then another one of the bubbles was shaded only on the top half and it was pretty light (not hard marks), will the machine read the right answer?

@airfreshener that’s what i got

Fisa, was trial 7 an awnser to one of the questions? I don’t think I put trial 6 for anything?

UVAorBust, trial 7 was an incorrect answer choice for said question

^trial 7 was not an answer to anything. However, trial 7 was one of the choices with trial 6 and the other trials.

****, why was it trial 6 over trial 7? Trial 7 said H2 mixed with dry air is water?

If you didn’t pick trial 6, you got it wrong. Sorry. That was sort of blunt.

Yea but what was that question? was that the question asking about the saturated with water one?

That’s why it WASN’T the answer. The question was talking about RELATIVE HUMIDITY. DRY AIR HAS NO RELATIVE HUMIDITY.

^ lol yeah. dry air has no water in it. that was the point

It NEVER said that.

yea it listed 4 different compounds and it so happend that in trial 7 H2 was being mixed in.

ok dude the answer was trial 6, it said 100% water in it.
