***SEPTEMBER 2015 ACT DISCUSSION THREAD***

@hwksltz Yeah I did the Big Red and practically all the released ACT from 2010-2015. You’re right about 2015 curves, no skips in science, and usually -1 wrong is also 36. I don’t think there will be skipping this time because a) science didn’t seem to be easier than other ACT’s in 2015, and b) reasonably, there won’t be huge fluctuations in the difficulty and curves of a particular section in a relatively short period of time (i.e. from Apr. to Sept. 2015). The same is also true for reading. Good news for us XD

GUYS. PLEASE STOP ASKING FOR SCORE PREDICTIONS. I POSTED CURVES FOR A REASON.

Hey! I will be taking the ACT in April and I’m starting to prepare now (I go hardcore, really want a 32-33). Does anyone know how accurate the The ACT for Dumnies book is? I found the math section to be a lot more difficult.

ugh, would anyone here be willing to pay extra to get scores sooner, i definitely would be willing to pay $100 to get them earlier.

Does the curve ever leak early?

This waiting game is killing me

So we have to wait until next Friday?

Unfortunately. This is going to be the longest wait ever. ~X(

Ehhhhh I’m feeling the pain

Keep in mind that the first scores will be delivered Friday. However, there is no guarantee that your score will be released the first day. A bunch of people on College Confidential (including my son) had to wait weeks after the first release date. If your status does not change from registered to tested prior to the release then your scores will not be released that day.

The earliest time scores come out is 4 days away so keep at it guys! I’m super nervous as well! :-S

Stupid questions but… Where do we see our scores lol

@allboyz do you mean Friday as tomorrow or next Friday the 25th?

@nuimancel umm… I think the first date that the scores come out is September 25th. So it won’t be in 4 days. it will be 8 days

@clichescreenname I checked http://blog.prepscholar.com/2015-2016-act-sat-test-dates-and-info but I don’t know how accurate it is…

if our status shows registered on the act online account, does it mean our scores will be delayed (past sept. 25th)?

ACT is stating scores will be released on the September 25th. If your account shows tested on the 24th of September you will most likely be able to see your scores after midnight on the 25th. Check your ACT Student account.

@TheIG19 The first scores will be released next Friday(25th).

You log in on the ACT site. Right now your status should say registered. Right before scores are released the status will change to tested. If you do not notice that change then you will not get your score that day. Some people notice the change the day before the release. Others notice the status change hours before the scores are released.

@glassflowers No. It is too early for the status to change. See above.

Guys, your status will change from “registered” to “tested” on the 24th if your scores will be available the 25th. If not, you’ll have to wait. Everyone’s should say “registered” right now.

Should I be worried if my account still has “View/Print Ticket; Make Changes to Your Registration; When will scores be ready?” instead of the “Status” link (or whatever its name is)?
I tested in Russia, if that makes any difference.

@aposnova Nope, mine says the same thing and I took it in the US. What they’re talking about is when you click on “your test dates and scores,” and it says registered under the Sept. date.
