^^^ says the person who also got the same score across all categories. Meh.
^^^ and you don’t see me complaining about such an ‘abomination’
Be happy with your 10! I’d believe it better if it had been 8, 10, 10, 12. 8-|
@ScienceGal1023 The person who scored your exam was just as lazy as the person who scored my son’s exam.
still waiting on the MC scores here in VA - can you believe it? This is beyond ridiculous!!!
While we don’t have total proof of ACT’s laziness, these cases are enough to raise the question, “are they being lazy?” It’s impossible to prove, but this hopefully will spread the word.
Let me also add that my score report (int’l) doesn’t even show the subscores from each MC SECTION! You know like “algebra” under Math. Even on the pdf score report, everything under the MC scores is N/A, so I don’t know what I got wrong / how many I got wrong.
I got something similar 36 E, 36 R, 36 Composite with an essay score of 10 (10/10/10/10). Why have subscores if you dont use them?
We can actually file a petition against this malpractice. It seems like everyone has the same story. I had a 36C with an 11 on the essay (11/11/11/11), but I’m beginning to think that the 11 was based on the length of my essay and not its quality, predominantly because something realistic would’ve looked something like 12/10/11/11.

I hope they release my score tom
@FLmomz let know when you get ur score. I have the same problem . The registered
Same problem here. Still Registered. Keeping 'em fingers crossed.
Nothing yet. has anyone got their MC scores today?
Hugs to all you kids still waiting. Unfair and unacceptable.
I am very annoyed with these writing scores. Whether or not the scores were x,x,x,x there is no way that all of these elite students with documented top 1% English and Reading scores (many of them scoring 5s on AP English exams) are incapable of writing an essay that scores higher than the 50-60 percentile of the overall populations. Something is off.
D got a 35 composite (35E, 34M, 35R, 34S) and a 7 on the writing. Now her ELA score is a 29. If I had more faith in the ability of the scorers, I would encourage her to retest. Rather, because I think it’s apparent that the scores are inaccurate for so many (nevermind my D), I will not have her waste her time. It’s my guess the same thing would happen again. What nonsense and what a flawed and clearly unfair system.
Now if only we could be assured that colleges will understand the reality.
Does anyone know how they calculate the ELA score, exactly? I couldn’t find it on a quick internet search.
Nevermind, I found the answer. Thanks.
Hey guys. I’ve had my ACT score (and the essay score as well) for about 2 weeks now, but underneath my composite score, it still says “This is not an official ACT score report. This is only for personal use” or something like that.
Can I still submit it to colleges? Or do I have to wait until that message goes away? Does anyone know?
Thanks
Dam no score still
