<p>Come on people!</p>

<p>For the Piano passage:</p>

<p>The paragraph about how the narrator was unsure about entering the piano store shows how significant the narrator thought this period of life was for him.</p>

<p>I thought it was the nervous one.</p>

<p>I thought Luc thought he be mad if it was brought into a home for furniture and not a deep musical person. </p>

<p>rest I agree with.</p>

<p>Hmm, I thought it said it is part of the house and a furniture.</p>

<p>Well if we are going to have an answer guide, post only the known answers, no debatables unless there is a great majority on one side.</p>

<p>yeah i got furniture too…</p>

<p>luc said it was a piece of furniture after noting that some pianos clearly have the marks of young children.</p>

<p>The HOT and HOV was underutilized. You could have found it on the second paragraph on the right,</p>

<p>I do not remember reading that Luc hates when pianos are transported by ships. I must have completely skipped a sentence or something!</p>

<p>Bat

  1. Bats are slower than birds
  2. Echo whatever the word was is when sound waves bounce off surfaces, ‘echo’ back and allow the bats to see the lay of the land
  3. to show how fast the bat was going compared to the slow-moving moth
  4. to show that dogs can hear low frequency pitches
  5. 20 kmz</p>

<p>Prose -the one about the house

  1. He didn’t get a plate of cookies
  2. Wasn’t eating with mouth full? (that question confused me)
  3. The mother liked grass and the father liked hard surfaces
  4. The grass was wild where it wasn’t cut and worn down where children had played on it
  5. The Tias talked loudly because they were hard of hearing (that’s how the girl heard them)
  6. Gossip?
  7. Late afternoon
  8. Several years earlier (it might have been 'a few years earlier) something earlier</p>

<p>2: I thought cause he didn’t address them properly :/</p>

<p>EDIT</p>

<p>Didn’t it ask for the one that he didn’t do? He didn’t talk with his mouth full</p>

<p>He did
Address them improperly
Compare the dog’s ailment to the tia’s
Leave the room before the question was answered (though that didn’t make sense to me because the girl pulled him out, he didn’t just leave on his own)</p>

<p>luc did specifically say he hates shipping pianos on ships</p>

<p>What evidence in the 4th passage suggested that bats are slower than birds?</p>

<p>It was in the first or second paragraph. I think it said birds are faster than bats</p>

<p>Fastfood - I know. I was half-skimming that passage and I must have missed it</p>

<p>first paragraph about the birds…</p>

<p>Birds are faster than bats</p>

<p>But slow moth thing is to show how precise the ultrasonic wave is… not to show bats are faster than moth… agree?</p>

<p>^^ Agree, it was not to show the speed of the bats… that wasn’t what the passage was talking about in context at that point</p>

  2. The entering of the pianoshop indicates something “dramatical”
  3. Luc would be most mad at piano being transported by ship
  4. Guy doesn’t play piano “stored deep in shop”
  5. Learned Luc by his comments?</p>

<p>ROAD

  2. Public officials sensitive to public</p>

<p>Bat

  1. Bats are slower than birds
  2. Echo whatever the word was is when sound waves bounce off surfaces, ‘echo’ back and allow the bats to see the lay of the land
  3. to show how precise the bat by moth example
  4. to show that dogs can hear low frequency pitches
  5. 20 kmz
  6. “texture” by FM frequency
  7. “lock in” most likely means “detect”
  8. North American bats use FM to zero in</p>

<p>Prose -the one about the house

  1. He didn’t get a plate of cookies
  2. Wasn’t eating with mouth full?
  3. The mother liked grass and the father liked hard surfaces
  4. The grass was wild where it wasn’t cut and worn down where children had played on it

  8. Several years earlier (it might have been 'a few years earlier) something earlier</p>

<p>Bat
North American bats used CM (?) to find prey and FM to zero in</p>

<p>was that a question?</p>

<p>I thought the public officials were quick to defend whatever they put up, because in the passage it said they like didn’t care about the opinions of the people who complained… or something similar? NO WHERE did I sense a positive response from them. Like didn’t it say in one of the paragraphs in the second column that the complains were easily returned or easily reversed… meaning that the complains were like “returned”… maybe I’m overthinking</p>
