Seriously, how do people have the patience to debate in religion threads for 6 YEARS?

<p>I’m seeing some people (on various forums) debate on religion threads. And they’ve done it for six years (and sometimes more). I’ve even seen posters who’ve stopped posting everywhere except on religion debate threads.</p>

<p>Like seriously, how do they have the patience for this? The debates get sooo repetitive. Although I guess it’s sometimes good target practice when one’s argument skills improve. </p>

<p>(I’m not just talking about this forum, of course - I have lots of other forums in mind too).</p>

<p>Some people have no lives except to prove that they’re “right”.</p>

<p>^ Not only that, but the ones that repeatedly post arguments are the ones who won’t be convinced otherwise and stubborn in seeing his or her views as the only possible options. Both religious and nonreligious, though most are religious. </p>

<p>It’s pointless to talk to a rock. Most people are either apathetic or have figured this out, and the remaining continue posting.</p>
