Hi, one of my teachers wants me to write an essay about the difference between sex and gender. Aside from “sex is between your legs, gender is between your ears,” what can I say? Thanks.

I say you skip the essay and settle for a class demonstration. Seems more creative, don’t you think?

Well, I’d say sex is between your legs and gender is between your ears.

Oh my I think that is a good idea. I need ideas for a 10 minute skit, hopefully involves some teasing and a donkey.

Well, definitely make it clear that sex and gender aren’t necessarily related. Neither are a choice, but for different reasons. Mentioning “gender expression” would be nice as well.
I love this teacher already. What class?
