I did something very unusual for me, and ordered the Ojon Dry Recovery Intensive Hydrating 2 minute mask. It was more than I usually spend but it was a big jar.
First time using it, I dried my hair a bit without any product and it looked and felt so much better. My hair was looking so dry and dull, despite trying new things and I blamed it on menopause or maybe unknown health issues. It feels soft and my grey growing in around my temples looks nicer too, not dry and wirey.
I don’t know what continued use with be like, but it will last a long time because you don’t use it everytime you wash your hair.
It was more than the last few items from the drugstore, but they didn’t work well. I will look into some of the suggestions for shampoo, but this is a keeper for deep conditioning.

Haven’t tried palm/ojon oil. Seems pretty expensive for what it is.
Have you tried other oils like grape seed or jojoba?

This jar was about 25.00, more than I usually pay by far, but I tried oils, Morocan oil Frizz Control) was the last. and this worked better… It might not after a while and I’m not using it more than once a week. It just looked much better than other products I had tried recently, some samples from my hair dresser.
I think like many things, the condition of your hair, what was used before, texture, etc. makes a difference. Sometimes what works for one, doesn’t for another. I was just glad the frizz and dullness lessened a great deal, it had gotten pretty bad.
