Shipping delays

Currently have two delayed packages that I’m getting pretty nervous about. The kid has a stuffed bunny that had been a baby shower gift from my grandmother, who is 101 and in declining health. This is THE favorite lovey. A couple weeks ago, the kid asked if he could get another bunny for Christmas because Bunny I has been so very loved that it is becoming threadbare and little holes are appearing with beads leaking out. Of course, the kid didn’t want just any stuffed bunny. The kid wanted an exact replica of the bunny…which was purchased prior to his birth.

But, due to some diligent searching two bunnies were found on Ebay. One of them is supposed to be gifted by my grandmother so that Bunny I and II wil both be from her, as I suspect that it may be the last physical gift she gives him while she is alive. (Bunny III will be a secret in case Bunny II becomes just as worn as Bunny I, or can be gifted to a grandkid if the kid never needs Bunny III.)

Both were shipped within one day of purchase. One was supposed to be here by no later than the 17th and the other no later than the 19th. We also do the 12 days of Christmas, so it’s not crucial that things arrive by the 25th. But a refund is not acceptable, because those were the only identical bunnies I was able to find anywhere. We need the bunnies, not the money back. I’ve asked the seller of the first additional bunny to reach out to USPS because the tracing function needs to know the type of package, how it was delivered to USPS, etc.

All I can say is, I would sincerely appreciate anybody’s prayers, good wishes, crossed fingers, etc, for the safe arrival of at least one Bunny II, and preferably both Bunny IIs.
