<p>Farthest from campus. 3 floors (or was it four?) with a nice basement: pool, tv, free laundry. Uses key-card access and is on the campus network, from what I recall. I think this building is actually owned by CMU and not rented out like some other apartments.</p>
<p>expect a 20 minute walk.</p>
<p>I had a bunch of friends living there. I didn’t think it was that far, but then again, I live off campus and that walk was a little farther.</p>
<p>I rather liked it in Shirley. each room had a living room w/ a couch and desks, a kitchen, bathroom, and 2-person bedroom (from the rooms I saw anyways). The floor was pretty friendly in a casual way. The basement was pretty cool. I think the pool table slanted a bit (probably from abuse) but they take care of them before school starts I think. But then, sometimes pre-college students damage them too…</p>
