should i be worried about ra chances?

in state, white male, large suburban mostly white high school (let 7 kids in last year, 2 kids got in EA this year, one ahead and one behind in ranks)
almost applied EA, but decided to wait on w&m and a possible full ride to south carolina (both parents went there)
99% sure i will end up at uva if they let me in
3.925 uw / 4.475 w (up to 4.55 or so by mid term report)
5/520 (this may drop to 7 or 8 by the mid term grade report. Do i have to tell them on the mid term report if it drops a few spots?)
1970 sat 660 writing / 690 CR / 620 math (definite weak spot in app. imo. retaking in january, will this keep me out?)
ACT: 30 (30 essay)
680 Math I / 770 US history / 640 Literature
10th: AP Euro (3)
11th: AP Eng 11 (4), AP US (5), AP Art Hist. (4)

Got A’s in all AP’s so far, but probably will get B’s in Chem and Eng 12 (hard classes at my school)

Jefferson Book Award winner (not really sure what this even means, will it help? some uva alum came down to my school and gave the award out)

ok essays, decent recs

if uva really looks at gpa before sat’s, i think i have a decent shot, but i’m still a little nervous. thoughts?

youll probably be fine for instate. i have no reservations for you

Yes, for an instate you should be fine. While your SAT is somewhat low, it is not as big of a factor in uva admissions.

anybody else?

Yea, you’re probably in. from my school, in NoVa, you’d just about be an auto-admit.

I can’t see you having much trouble getting in provided you write half-way decent essays.
