Currently working on my college apps and I’m debating whether I should even bother putting that I participated in TOC (Tournament of Champions)(it’s a national speech & debate championship) this year. The competition was moved to an online platform this year due to COVID and I participated in it but I didn’t win anything so should I include it? I know it’s cool to even qualify for this tournament but I’m not sure if I should bother putting it since I didn’t win any awards and have nothing to really show for it besides the simple fact that I qualified. I don’t mean to degrade all the work I put into it or come off as snotty, I’m just genuinely conflicted. What do you guys think?
Yes I would include it, really no downside. never know who will be reading it and know how hard it is to make it to TOC
