im thinking about dropping from BC Calc to AB Calc. Im already taking 5 AP’s, but i am not getting any of the bc stuff so i will probably get a C or lower. i am applying to state schools like University of florida, university of central florida, and florida state university. so my question is, will these colleges care that much if i just drop from bc to ab?

It’s risky, but I think they will ultimately appreciate that you knew your limits and acted on them. An A or B in AB will look much better than a C in BC.

UF, UCF, and FSU? No, they are almost purely GPA and SAT/ACT. Shifting from BC to AB will have no impact IMO, with or without the 5 APs.
