I attended the Yale Young Global Scholars program, for one week working for approximately 12 hours per day. I think it will look good on the application, since it’s a relatively tough program to get into, and Yale has prestige.
However I’m perplexed whether I should I list this on the common app, considering it was only a week long?

By all means, yes. The name of the university itself gives your application extra bling.
Not sure if you made up your mind already…but I agree with the conclusion above. The name itself is prestigious and the fact that the program is exclusive makes an impact. So yes, put it down.
You could put it in activities, or in additional info. But yes, include it!!
