I just got the results for my first AP exam… a 2. I felt bad after taking it, but I expected to pull a 3. We had an official mock at the end of the year and I had a high 4… but I’m not sure what I did wrong… Is rescoring worth it…? I don’t want to give the CollegeBoard more money, and I could’ve just had a bad test day. I don’t know… Is there any success stories that you guys have heard? Thanks
Honestly, it’s not worth your time. A 2 on AP WH would only be a hindrance to your application (I’m assuming you’re nervous about putting the score on your app?) if you are planning to become a history major. Don’t sweat it and try to see where you went wrong on your test so you can improve on the next one! You don’t need to report the score either, and unless you are shooting for HYPS, you are ok.
No, it’s probably not worth it, because you’ll probably pay money just to get the same result. If it really bothers you, I’d say study and take it again next year.
