Should I take APEH?

Hey guys!

I am an uprising sophomore and I am currently enrolled in two AP classes for the next school year - chemistry and european history. As I am looking to major in one of the life sciences (particulary chemistry), I am definitely keeping AP Chemistry, and I am currently self-studying the basics and beyond using Zumdahl (took Bio H 9th Grade). However, I am not sure if I want to take APEH as it just doesn’t have the same appeal or interest as science and math classes for me.

Should I just take AP Chemistry only or is it to early to “focus” on a particular category?

I’d say it depends on your courseload for next year. You can take it just for the AP bonus, and imo it’s not particularly difficult, but keep in mind if you don’t like writing or wasting your time then you should drop it and focus on something else.
