Should I take APUSH

I’m a freshman in High School and I am deciding what to take my sophomore year.
These are the classes I want to take sophomore year.
Honors Chem.
Algebra 2 Trig Honors
Spanish 2 Honors
US Literature (1 semester) US lit honors (1 semester)
Religion (mandatory)
APUSH
Photography (art is required)

I usually get home around 6 pm every day because of sports practices. (Year Long) During baseball season, I start homework around 8 pm because of late practices. Otherwise, I start homework around 7 pm. Should I take APUSH? How much work will it take for an A student who gets home at 6 pm to achieve at least an A- in the class?

To be honest, it really depends on what APUSH is like at your school. I spent 1-2 hours a night on APUSH homework alone (though sometimes, when I had to study for the class as well, it could take upwards of four hours) and achieved an A in the class and a 4 on the AP test. At other schools and with other teachers at my school, the workload varied greatly. Talk to some people who have already taken the class to find out what the workload is like and make a decision from there.
