Our school has After Prom (this weekend and I’m not going to Prom just After Prom) and it’s for juniors and seniors, but freshmen and sophomores can go if they have a date (or friend, a guy can bring a guy and still be no homo.)

I’m a guy, would it be weird if I asked one of my freshmen guy friends if they wanted to go to after prom?

I guess it would be fine.

I don’t understand why you would go to After Prom and not Prom though.
What exactly do you do at After Prom?

It’s basically like a carnival, like they are going to have a mechanical bull, unlimited Dippin Dots, a hypnotist, sumo wrestling, and other fun things.

I’m not going to Prom just because I don’t have a date, and other reasons, but a lot of people don’t go to Prom and just After Prom. I just wanted to know if it would be weird to take a guy friend.

I don’t have After Prom and obviously you wouldn’t take a guy friend to normal Prom, so I don’t know how to answer that.
But it may be a little awkward for him to be surrounded by upperclassmen. And he wouldn’t have anyone else to talk to.
Why not just get together with people in your grade who are going? You don’t have to bring someone.

Sounds kinda homo, brah.

Find out if anyone else is taking any underclassmen. If not, then I wouldn’t invite him. It would be awkward for him being the only freshman there. And still, that might be awkward asking him to go. He could misinterpret it…

I mean yeah, that could definitely be misconstrued…but if the kid wants to go…

I thought you’d never ask…
