Do you
-Drink alcohol underage
-Not drink

and why?

I don’t drink yet, but its senior year and I feel like we might be missing out. What are some reasons to an not to drink?

-Not drink

and why?

I don’t drink yet, but its senior year and I feel like we might be missing out. What are some reasons to an not to drink?

Getting arrested
Making stupid decisions
Losing scholarships, admissions offers, etc because of either of the above.

Yeah I wouldn’t do it yet if I were you. Wait til you GET to college if you are going to drink.

Not worth it. Get HER drunk, but don’t drink yourself.

^Yeah, getting charged with rape is much funner.

^ After all, it goes along with his name

lol its not really a big deal, just dont get caught. Things are often more enjoyable and you will do a lot more stuff that you wouldnt have done otherwise. Trust me you are missing out if you dont.

No, because I can enjoy myself without relying on a pungent beverage.

If she remembers who you are and what you did with her, you didn’t get her drunk enough.

^How do you sleep at night…?

Oh yea, with drunk underage chicks. :(

^ You’d be surprised at the effectiveness of intoxicated teenage girls as a sleep aid.

I have… don’t get caught though.

Remember, if your underage and you do something that causes harm to a person or property your parents may end up on the hook for your actions. I’m a parent. I’d have no choice but to get that money to pay damages from my kids’ college fund.

Absolutely not! I don’t plan on ever drinking, even when I am of age. I enjoy having control over my body, the things I say, and my actions. I enjoy knowing what is going on. I enjoy not waking up with a throbbing headache, and vomit in my hair. I enjoy not blacking out. I hate the smell of alcohol. Even when my mom drinks a glass of wine with dinner, I speak to her from a distance because I can’t stand the smell. It is kind of like a poison. Why would I want to put something like that in my body? I can have a good time while being sober. I would never break the law to do something so stupid.

^Drinking does not, and should not, entail waking up with vomit and a headache…
We all only have one life, if you are curious or feel like your missing out, give it a try. However, if you prefer to have control then do not try it.
It is as simple as that…
PS. If you do try it be extremely safe!

Where I live, the legal drinking age is 16, so I’m not breaking any laws :)

It’s really not a big deal either way. I hate people who think they’re awesome because they drink, and I really, really hate people who act all self-righteous because they choose not to drink.

But to answer your question, alcohol definitely lowers your inhibition which makes you way more bold and open. And if you’re looking for a hook-up, it definitely aids you with that too.
On the downside, there’s the possibility of getting caught. And there’s a pretty high chance of getting caught (I did once).

Uhh why does drinking mean that you’ll wake up with a hangover and puke all over you?

its all about self control. You just have to learn when to stop.

I live in a borough of NYC other than Manhattan, but my friends and I were sake bombing there. We got smashed, weren’t thinking too much, and bought more drinks afterwards from a deli for the walk to the train and the train ride back. Well, some undercover cops pulled over and all of my friends ran except for me and 1 of my friends. We got 2 summons that we have to go back into Manhattan to pay for. Each can cost between 25 and 50 dollars so I’m going to be broke for a couple weeks after I go pay in a week >_>

ANYWAY, moral of the story is… go drink indoors in the privacy and safety of your home, while your parents arent there of course.

Drinking underage isn’t a big deal as long as you don’t destroy someone’s property, say something that’s gonna hurt you or someone else, or do some other stupid thing.

Also, people who PRETEND to be drunk at parties are so lame. Whatever you do, do not be one of those people.

Drinking, to be honest, isn’t that great. Most high schoolers drink just because everyone else does it and it’s supposed to be cool. It’s not actually that cool. But I guess the fun part is you can act ■■■■■■■■ and no one dings you for it. Drinking to get away from your problems is another reason to do it, but it’s not very healthy to drink as an escape. And it doesn’t really solve anything. Just makes you feel stupid when you wake up and realize your situation hasn’t changed at all.

Yeah, I don’t really think drinking underage is like 'OMGz TABOO!!!" but it’s not as great as TV likes to make it seem.
