<p>Yesterday I saw my son. He is very happy with his new job-he gets to clean offices for staff in the main building! The best part is when he finds leftover cake or cookies, he can eat some! A “haircut” is when one of the people does something bad, and the other people in that dorm get to express their feelings, while a guard is present. The inmates sit in a half circle, and the " bad boy" has to stand and listen.It was a pretty juicy tale.</p>
<p>Kind of like “circle time” in grade school.</p>
<p>Glad you were able to visit him yesterday. Sounds like his new job is a good one. I had no idea the clothing restrictions were so exhaustive for those visiting.</p>

<p>They serve Spam musubi to prisoners in Hawaii?</p>
<p>Only have seen a few meals–mystery non-spam processed meat, rice, bread, canned veggies & canned fruits, plus flat soda. Not gourmet cuisine, but seemed like quite a few calories.</p>
<p>How exciting to think he’ll be out in a few weeks, if all goes well! How long will he be in a halfway house?</p>
<p>Hey all! My son is O-U-T of prison. He is in a civilian run 1/2 way house faraway. He has had a job offer to work in a law office as a clerk. Hoping this speeds up his release.</p>
