Great news! I’m a medical marijuana patient and it’s the only thing that’s brought me even a little relief. He’ll be helping lots of people
I understand why some posters are questioning whether this job is the best idea for fm’s son, but I am assuming that fm, her son and those who are helping him transition back into society have given this matter a great deal of consideration. For all we know, fm’s son may be required to submit to regular drug-testing. I’ll leave those details up to fm and her son. Given all this family has been through and the progress that fm’s son has made, I am pleased applaud every accomplishment.
Why be in the middle of temptation, though? I hope it all works out for the best.
pg, I join you in hoping it all works out for the best.
I doubt that fm is going to tell her son to quit this new job now, when he has gone from “not sure what he is doing for income” to a legitimate job (despite cc’s understandable reservations).
Honestly, now that the decision is made, all I want to do is to provide support for fm. These transitions are scary for the entire family, and one never knows what will happen. Hugs to you, fm.
Of course this is not what I want for my son, but he is 35 and must make his own choices! I am hoping he won’t run into any trouble and stays out of prison.
Glad things are working out and hope they will continue on a good path!
It is so,very hard to find a job with a recorded. I hope Faux’s son thrives.
I hope your son does well in this job, continues to stay out of prison, and gets on with the business of life.
@fauxmaven It’s the kind of experience you can parlay into a very good job in Colorado!
Son is thriving at a marijuana dispensary. Paid job and benefits! Daughter in Sweden is getting married in Sweden to a Dutchman on June 1.
Congrats on all fronts.
Hope these changes lead to happy lives for your children.
How are YOU doing and feeling, @fauxmaven?
So happy to hear your good news.
My daughter is also marrying someone from another country this year but the wedding will take place here. Never would have guessed that she’d find ‘the guy’ from this country! Even she was surprised, but then, life is full of surprises, isn’t it?!
@fauxmaven, I hope you’re doing well and congrats on the wedding and job.
Update: Glad to see it working out!
Well, I am feeling a bit nervous about my son now, and there’s nothing I can do. He is 36, and has to live with his choices. Hoping I am wrong!
Hugs @fauxmaven. And you are right, it’s his life to lead.
Sending hugs and good thoughts that things will be ok, Fauxmaven.
More ((HUGS)) are coming your way @fauxmaven. I hope your son will be okay. Sending good thoughts to him and to you.
