Sick With Worry- My son is assigned to the WORST prison in our state.

Glad you and your S remain close. What an amazing, interesting card!

Happy for you. :)

How lovely!

In HS, my D was in a group that had to make posters totally covered in glitter…for weeks, or even months aftrwards, we were tracking glitter everywhere. Amusing to think about in the prison context.

So happy that you received such a cool card!

Happy birthday. :)

I certainly didn’t know. So glad to hear you had this nice surprise. I hope the rest of your day was happy as well.

Happy Birthday Fauxmaven! How much longer???

fauxmaven, that’s lovely! And happy birthday!! A Halloween baby you were!

Happy Birthday, fauxmaven. What a nice birthday surprise.

Very nice!

I’m an elementary art teacher and no stranger to glitter! I always think of glitter as an aggressive cancer. You think you cleaned it all up and then…there it is again! I find it everywhere! My car, my hair, my underwear, my dog, my food…

Happy Birthday, Fauxmaven!!! I’m so glad that you received such a wonderful validation of your son’s love!

We call glitter “craft herpes”.

I made bows for my son’s wedding decorations. The ribbon had a glitter design on them. Thankfully I thought to do this outside! I was finding glitter on my deck for weeks afterward.

Happy birthday fauxmaven! Hope your son is home soon.

“Craft Herpes”!!!
Hahahahaha! Hope you don’t mind if I steal that. That is perfect!!!

Today I used red, blue, gold, green and multi. Ugh. I found it in my coffee this afternoon.

Good fiber, I guess.

Very nice. Happy day!

Happy Birthday, fauxmaven. What a nice surprise.

I think about you often.

So happy for you fauxmaven. Enormous effort went in to that card - very touching. Happy birthday!

Happy Birthday fauxmaven!

Happy Birthday to you!

My son send me letters, and tries to hide the fact that he is in PRISON. In the return area, he writes his name, ID, street address and zipcode. No mention of the prison. Today, for fun, I wrote " Northern State- A Gated Community ". Can you give me ideas? He is not in a Federal Prison, but a State one. I thought of " Northern State- a 100% acceptance rate! "
