<p>M considering public schools right now, for private colleges will cost me a fortune…But ppl always tell me the “sink or swim” in public schools. Is that serious in UVa?</p>

What dya mean by “no”? Could ppl in uva handle all this? Or uva is not so seriously sink-or-swim as ppl expect? Or uva is more liberal than huge public schools like UC?</p>

<p>There is not much of a “sink or swim” situation here at UVA. The University is famous for its high retention rates.</p>
